OFB’s mission is to promote a culture of respect, equality, and leadership for LGBTQ+ students entering the business world. We empower our members through robust professional development and vibrant, inclusive social events, providing them with the tools and support to excel in their careers and drive positive change.

Our goal is to build a safe and empowering community among LGBTQ+ students at the University of Michigan and Ross School of Business. Everyone is welcome at OFB, whether you’re LGBTQ+ or an ally, if you are questioning, closeted, or out and proud. We are an organization open to all majors interested in business - you do not need to be a BBA to join. 

This is a safe place and we take your privacy seriously. Our events are never recorded and we uphold the highest degree of confidentiality for all our members. We will never share photos or personal information without your consent. We’re here to support you!

• Social outings and community events for members and LGBTQ+ students

• Private networking events with top companies, consulting firms, and banks

• Professional development sessions for success at Ross/UM and beyond

• Connections and mentorship with Out For Business’ MBA Chapter

We strive to build connections with corporate partners and sponsors that care deeply about LGBTQ+ inclusivity in the workplace. On the professional side, members participate in diversity recruiting events, career panels, Out For Undergrad Conference preparation, and more. On a social level, our club finds opportunities to explore Ann Arbor and its queer community, ease first-years into college, and just have fun together!
